Let’s get right to the puzzle this month! Continuing our lineup of guest constructors, February’s puzzle is “Fairy Rings” by Madison Shultz. The meta answer is a literary character.
Madison recently started a crossword blog called Crossword Curiosities with fellow ACL constructor Hannah Binney, and “Fairy Rings” is her first meta puzzle! You can find Madison’s biography over on our Team Ariadne page.
To submit to the contest, send an email with your answer in the subject line to damefoxwords@gmail.com. The contest deadline is 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, February 5. The solution, as well as the name of the randomly chosen winner, will be published on Saturday, February 7.
AcrossLite (puz) file can be downloaded here.
PDF for download is below.
You may notice the PDF got a bit of a makeover compared to previous months – shout-out to Quiara Vasquez for pointing me to the very useful site https://puz2pdf.alexboisvert.com/pdf.html, which somehow I was completely unaware of and which has completed changed my PDF-making game!
Happy solving!
